"The eyes of the skin" is an exploration of the sense of perception by replacing sight with touch, the artist’s eyes with his hands and fingertips. The resulting sculpture thereby reflects and represents a different sensual experience from the habitual visual one, investigating the accepted cultural hierarchy of our five senses.
